Speaker: Juan Castro – JDSU
Juan has been in the cable industry for over 28 years, initially employed with United Cable, followed by several other cable companies achieving advancement as an Installer, Manager, Trainer and Director. As an employee of TCI he helped launch HITS and with Charter Communications assisted with the implementation of Digital and Workforce Management. This experience has provided him with a strong technical background.
He truly enjoys sharing his knowledge with others and has had the opportunity to provide presentations throughout North America and South America with topics to include Fiber Optics, Status Monitoring, MPEG, DOCSIS as well as Field Test Equipment.
Juan Castro is currently employed with JDSU as a Technical Sales Support Engineer and has remained an active member of the SCTE – Southern Chapter for the over 24 years
