Session II – BPON, GPON, EPON, etc… What do they all mean?  Passive Optical Networks are coming in a bewildering variety of configurations - we know there are no active devices after the node, but what else?  What signals are on them and how are they used?  What is the latest and greatest and what can it do for your system and your plans for DOCSIS 3.0, cellular backhaul, FTT? and all the other amazing new things your boss wants you to know about.

Speaker Overview: I have been it the CATV industry for nearly 22 year shortly after leaving the US Army Signal Core in 1986. I have held several positions within the industry to include Installation & Maintenance Manager thought out the Southwest with various MSO’s.  Sergio is now the Account Director for Salira Systems now Hitachi Technology Communication America
